Keen cyclists are being offered the chance to spend a few days in the saddle, get away to Paris and help the Meningitis Trust at the same time. The Meningitis Trust - now in its 21st year - has once again organised a London to Paris Cycle Ride, which takes place next year between 4 - 7 July.
This is a spectacular cycling challenge and it is becoming more popular year on year as cyclists take to their bikes for the 300k ride. Over the three days cyclists get to pedal across undulating terrain and are rewarded with fantastic views as the route weaves through the South Downs, then on to France and through the pretty Normandy countryside. The finish line is at the City's most recognisable landmark -The Eiffel Tower.
"If you love cycling then this is the event for you," said Sian Jones, National Event Organiser for the Meningitis Trust. "The Trust relies greatly on the involvement of the general public who are prepared to get on their bikes to help us!" The money raised by participants will help the Meningitis Trust continue to rebuild the shattered lives of thousands of families across the UK who have been affected by the disease. Whether you wish to undertake the challenge with a friend, colleague or alone, you are sure to return with colourful memories, new friends and a real sense of achievement.

This year the Trust celebrates its 21st anniversary of fighting meningitis and rebuilding shattered lives. For the many thousands of people who have been, and continue to be, affected by meningitis, and for those who sadly will be affected in the future, the Meningitis Trust is a lifeline. It's the only charity of its kind, focusing on fighting meningitis through awareness and providing the best possible support to those affected.
