The Herbalife Three Counties Challenge 2008
Date: 6th July 2008
Herbalife Independent Distributors in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Kendal, challenges you to tackle any one of three stunning routes including the infamous double century (200km) challenge ride across some of the North West's toughest terrain. Enjoy the beautiful quiet lanes of North Lancashire, the stunning Western Yorkshire Dales including ascents of the notorious Buttertubs 1 in 4 Pass and finally the hills and passes of the Eastern Lake District including the awesome Kirkstone Pass!
Routes:
- The original 200k (125 miles) Challenge in all its glory.
- A new 160K (100 miles) route that covers much of the original but then traverses the very tough but scenically superb Howgills back to HQ!
- The 100K (63 miles) also from last year is a slightly less challenging route but is still a formidable ride.
- The 8K (5 miles) Fun route for all the family.
Refreshments will be available at the Kendal Showground and the sponsors will have a team of Independent Herbalife Distributors who will provide hot and cold drinks and samples of their energy products.
All proceeds from the event will be allocated to local rotary charities and a new young athletes fund.
Entry fee:
£30 per rider for 160KM (100mile) and 200KM (125 mile) routes, and £25 per rider for 100KM (62mile) route.
