Essex Countryside

Charity ride in aid of Little Havens Children's Hospice.
A choice of 3 circular routes (18, 35 & 58 miles) through countryside rich in both history and natural beauty.
Starting at the Hospice's HQ just outside Southend, the route heads to Battlesbridge, from where the medium & long routes first skirt Hanningsfield reservoir before the long heads on to Danbury (the highest point in Essex) and refreshments on the quay at Maldon, returning through Latchingdon to rejoin the medium route at East Hanningfield.
All routes meet again at Battlesbridge with an optional off-road woodland stretch as we head back to the finish at Southend.
Distance: 60, 35, 18 miles
Start time: 08.00 - 09.30 at a time to suit you
