
Tingwall Sportive

Following the successful Sportive in South Yell, another is planned for 31 August in Tingwall in aid of CLAN to help raise funds for a new cancer support centre in Aberdeen.
It is hoped once again, to attract a field of adults and teenagers of all abilities to come along and enjoy the challenge of cycling a set distance on public roads, without the pressure of taking part in a competitive race.
Event registration will be from 10.30am onwards. There are two possible routes to follow:
Route 1: 36.5miles, start time 11.30am This route starts at the Tingwall Hall, heads North through Laxfirth through to Voe, Aith, Bixter, Whiteness and returns to the Tingwall Hall.
Route 2: 12.6 miles, start time 12 Noon This route starts at the Tingwall Hall, heads North through Laxfirth, in through Stromfirth, Whiteness and returns to the Tingwall Hall.
There will be Sunday Teas available in the Tingwall Hall after the race along with an information stand and stall of CLAN merchandise.
