The big one has finally arrived! Greenwich Park was a hive of activity from the early hours of this morning, as event contractors began the job of turning the Royal Park into an event village capable of accommodating the 5000 riders expected to filter in and out of registration throughout the day. And most of those 5000 came, despite torrential rain, to sign on and claim their places.

Registration was manic all day with riders braving the rain and keeping their spirits high for the big day tomorrow. We'd like to thank everyone for their patience during the registration process and hope that they have an unforgettable time on the Tour de France route tomorrow. Also a massive thanks to our merry band of volunteers who worked ceaselessly today at the registration marquee.
