Between 14-22 June, Everyday Cycling registered users racked up over 42,000 cycling miles on the site's Activity Log.
The Activity Log has been a hugely popular area of the site from Day 1, allowing Everyday Cycling registered users to log their cycling, swimming, running and walking. The activity log also allows you to set special challenges or adopt Everyday Cycling challenges.
Over 2000 registered users contributed to the massive mileage total, the equivalent of cycling almost twice around the equator, riding forty-seven End-to-Ends, or riding a quarter of the distance to the moon!
In the process, Everyday Cycling users who clicked the 'trip' button on the site's activity log indicated that they had saved 972 car journeys during Bike Week, on school runs, commutes and trips to the shops.
How your mileage stacked up:

During Bike Week, Everyday Cyclists did the equivalent of 47 of these... |

...or a quarter of the way to this. |

Also, nearly 1000 of these were kept off the roads for everyday journeys! |
A big THANK YOU to everyone who contributed
We've been working with 9 counties during Bike Week to promote the campaign, so a huge thanks to them for helping us clock up so many miles and taking so many cars off the road. But just because Bike Week is over, it doesn't mean you can stop logging those miles. So keep logging in and recording your daily mileage. It all adds up!
Thanks to everyone who took part!
