The organisers of this nationally acclaimed event say that all the full-sized camp and caravan pitches have now been allocated. "Although there are still over five weeks to go before the Rally, there are only a very few remaining pitches left for lightweight cycle-campers", according to Mark Burchett, from the events organising committee.

"We do have an accommodation leaflet available from our website, with details of local bed & breakfast, hotel and campsites" he added.

The comprehensive website also contains details about everything else taking place at the Rally, which is based at the town's Riverside Middle School over the August bank-holiday weekend (Saturday 23rd to Monday 25th August 2008). As well as the grass-track, which forms the centrepiece of the Rally, there is also a Cyclo-Cross, Children's Duathlon and the Newmarket Duathlon for adults, promoted for the organisers Mildenhall CC, by the Newmarket Cycling & Triathlon Club; which is now full, but they are taking reserve entries.

The Trade Show, on the Sunday and Monday, is one of the largest shows for the public in the UK. With nearly 30 companies and organisations represented, including Isla Bikes who will not be only displaying their range of children's cycles but have a test area for them too. New at Mildenhall will be Fine Designs, who for the very first time will be printing clothing with the Rally logo on, while the customer waits.

Slightly less strenuous will be the BSCA Children's Skill Tests, Children's Sports, Audax Rides, Touring Routes, Cycle Jumble and a 'Then and Now' presentation by Mildenhall Museum of how the town and local villages have changed, or the alternative Quiz Night.
