Lincolnshire was made for cycling! With a network of quiet country lanes, cycle paths and sections of the National Cycle Network it couldn't be easier to explore the county on two wheels.
To help you select the best places to cycle the county council has produced a number of publications:
Lincolnshire Cycle Routes
A series of new leaflets with selected routes. Each leaflet has an ordnance survey map showing the route(s), directions, places of interest along the route as well information on local facilities. The first set of leaflets are based around Grantham, Woodhall Spa, The Deepings and Lincoln.
Lincolnshire Cycle Maps
If you prefer to plan your own route but want to know how busy local roads are then the Lincolnshire cycle maps could be just what you're looking for. Roads are classified and local facilities, tourist attractions and nature reserves shown. There are four maps covering, Lincoln, Gainsborough, North Wolds and South Wolds
Countryside Access Map
If you prefer off road cycling, the countryside access map shows all the public rights of way across the county. Cyclists can ride on bridleways, byways open to all traffic and restricted byways but not on public footpaths.
