Coast-to-Coast Mineral Tramway

alt image textSummary: You're guaranteed to see parts of Cornwall that you can't see any other way. An intermediate route over Cornwall's old industrial area. Hilly and uneven in parts with some short sections of quiet road.

Essential Information: It is easiest to pick up the route at Bissoe, Portreath or Devoran (close to Perranwell station). If refreshments are required at the end of the ride, The Old Pandora Inn, Restronguet Creek, is beyond the lower end of the route and is named after the ship sent to capture the mutineers of the Bounty. The route is best tackled in the dry - bad weather will make the uneven sections more difficult to tackle.

Other Attractions: See Poldice Valley, which once produced 95% of the world's copper and was called 'the richest square mile in the world'.
