Community: Activate your Profile Now!
If you've logged in recently to log your miles you will have noticed that things have changed a little in My Everyday Cycling! As well as the usual Activity Log and Challenges, you've got a whole new Profiles and Groups area to explore.
To get started, here's what to do:
- Log in to Everyday Cycling using your usual login (British Cycling Silver and Gold members can log in with their British Cycling username and password)
- Once logged you'll see your empty profile ready for you to fill in. Tell us about yourself. What kind of cycling to you enjoy? What are your cycling likes and dislikes? What's your cycling related thought for the day. You can update your profile whenever you like! You can also upload a profile picture.
- TOP TIP: If you want your friends to be able to find you in a friends search, make sure that your profile is set to PUBLIC. By default it is set to PRIVATE. Don't worry, setting your profile to PUBLIC won't allow anyone to access any of your personal details.
- You can change other settings which control your privacy and searchability by clicking Edit My Details in the My Everyday Cycling menu.

Just bringing this to the attention of everyone who stops by the lounge.
Enabling your profile to be seen by others enables them to find and invite you into their friend lists and groups, so switch to public and you're off!
